The Last Day Of Summer Vacation

Today is the last day of Summer Vacation. I'm pretty sad Summer Vacation is over. But it was a very fun summer! I also accomplished a few things such as almost being able to ride a bike and getting much better at baseball! This was a summer I won't forget.

I had fun writing this blog this summer.  I hope you liked reading it too!

A Great Game

On Saturday I went to a baseball game with my brother, mom and dad. When we got to the stadium, we first went to the Yankees team store to get T-shirts. When we got in, it was so crowed.  William and I were trying to choose witch player we wanted on our shirt. William said he wanted A-Rod (Alex Rodriguez) on his shirt, but I couldn't choose. So after William got his shirt I finally chose who I wanted on my shirt. I wanted Curtis Granderson. After we finished at the store, we went to our seats.

In the beginning of the game, the Yankees scored a couple of runs, but the Rays got a Solo Home run! Luckily, the Yankees were still winning.

After the first couple of innings, we went inside the Jimbeam Lounge to eat lunch. While we in there getting food, Curtis Granderson, my favorite player, hit a Solo Home run! I was infuriated! So after I got my food, I really wanted to go back outside so I wouldn't anymore of the game. And of course I did get to go back outside after I got my food.

So after I went outside, at one point the bases were loaded. Jorge Posada was up. And then he hit a GRAND SLAM! I was so Happy! I missed my favorite player's Home run, but I saw a Grand slam!

After that definitely wanted to stay the whole game. And I'm glad I did, because the Yankees won!

I'm Bored

This morning I'm bored because I already played on the computer, I don't want to play my DS or read a book, and only my brother's up, but he doesn't like playing games with me. So now, since I'm all out of ideas, I'm just going to play another computer game. Maybe I'll add something else later because it's only morning right now.

Mondays

Today's Monday and I don't have anything fun to do anymore. I already played with Jake, watched all the good shows, played my D.S, read a little, and played a couple games on the computer. The only thing left to do is do that stuff over again, but it's only four thirty so I'd be doing that stuff about 5 times! And after a wile it would get pretty boring. There's about 5 more hours till I go to sleep, so I guess I'll be doing those things the rest of the day, unless someone wants to invite me to their nice and big indoor pool. And if they do, just give me a call. So now I'm going to go downstairs and do all those things.

Oh. And since it's the first day of August, have a happy August!

My Little Cousins Birthday Party

Last Saturday my little cousin had his birthday party. But he's turning 2 this week.

At his birthday party we went swimming in there Big indoor pool, ate lunch, and played with him. So as I said, first we went swimming. But on Saturday the water was unusually warm. But I went in. Nothing was wrong with the pool, it was just warmer than usual.  While I was in the pool I played with my little cousin a little.

So then I got out of the pool to eat. So I ate a couple of chips then went outside waiting for my uncle to finish grilling. But this made me really mad. He was grilling the chicken first, then the hot dogs, then the hamburgers last. So I waited outside in the sun for so long and then I ate.

After I ate I went back in the pool and I just had the same experience all over again. So finally my mom forced me to get out of the pool and we left.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, Part 2

On Saturday we went to see Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, Part 2. I thought it was scary, sad and exciting. It was about Voldamort (Bad guy) trying to kill Harry Potter (Good guy). He wants to kill Harry so bad because he was the only one blocking him from ruling the world.

So then Voldamort goes to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. To get in to Hogwarts he has to destroy their extremely strong shield. He did, but only because of the Elder Wand. The Elder Wand is the most powerful wand in the universe. You can only use its full potential if you killed its last owner. But even if you didn't, it would still be very powerful. They needed to break open the shield because if you touched it at all from the outside you would automatically die.

After he broke the shield, his army and him raided Hogwarts. The only reason Harry was at the school was because he was looking for the last two Horcruxes, which are items that can make you immortal if at least one is left.

(SPOILER ALERT!)
Now I'm going to skip to the part where Harry fights Voldamort. So harry took Voldamort on a Six Hundred feet fall with him, but they didn't die because Voldamort can turn into gas. So then they started fighting. It was very intense. But Voldamort still had one Horcrux left. Here's the weirdest part. Another character named Nevil destroyed the last Horcrux. So then it was equal. Anyone could win. Then they were both starting to lose strength, but at the last minute Harry won! Everyone was so happy. The only reason Harry won is because Voldamort couldn't use the wands full power. Harry could.

So after that, Harry's friend Ron asked him what he would do with the wand. All he did was rip the elder wand in half and throw it in to a canyon.

Finally the movie was over.

The Contrabass Saxophone

A random guy playing the Contrabass Sax
On my last day of music camp my sax teacher told me about the Contrabass Saxophone. There's one thing you have to know about it. It is HUMONGOUS! It's six feet seven inches tall! When you play it, you have to stand up as tall you can. The thing that helps you play it is that the part that goes on to the mouthpiece curls down. Here's something that will amaze you. A three year old girl can sit inside the opening in the horn!  There's one thing that really amazes me. There are only sixteen Contrabass Saxophones in the World and my music camp teacher has one of them.
